Lesson Management

To enable you to provide a consistant quality of education or training across all your courses and teachers, the AdminForSchools system has two key pieces of functionality.

  • Online Lesson plans that you create for each course that your teachers to refer to and print.
  • Lesson Diaries that the teacher can complete after a class to show what they actually covered or did in that class

Lesson Plans

Having formal lesson plans is key to being able to provide consistant quality education/training for your students. It is especially importnat if you have more than one teacher teaching the same material.

You can create plans at any grannuality that you like. From a simple one page plan for a whole course or term, down to individual plans to follow for every lesson.

Teacher can view the plans online either while preparing a lesson or if they have a laptop or tablet in the classroom during the lesson. Plans can also be easily printed out or saved as PDF files.

Lesson Diaries

A lesson diary is the opposite to a lesson plan, in that they allow the teacher to record after or during every class, what they actually did in that class, and if lesson plans are being used details of the plan element they were following.

Lesson diaries are particularly useful when a teacher is unavailable to teach, and a cover/temporary teacher is used. That teacher can then easily see what the students did in the previous lesson, and what homework if any is due.

Centre management staff can also access the individual diaries to check on the progress of the classes, and if the lesson diary function is being used which teachers haven't completed diaries for their classes.
